A Comment About Comments

It will come as no surprise that this website is not owned by or affiliated with Coutts & Co. in any way.  If you'd like the Bank's website, then please click here.

We have just added a real-time "Comments" facility to this website.  You'll be able to add your own comments at the bottom of each article, and add your name and e-mail address (if you wish).

The comments added will appear in real-time, although we have the facility to review and edit (or delete) them after-the-fact.  It is inevitable, therefore, that comments will appear before we've had a chance to vet them.  We wanted to make it clear that comments added do not necessarily reflect our own views and opinions --- but those of the respective authors.

We will try to review the comments in a timely fashion.  If you see something that you find objectionable, please e-mail us and we will respond promptly.

While I was not overly fond of the treatment that we received from Coutts last year, we are able to put this into perspective.  We did have good service from the Bank --- and from most of the bankers there --- during the span our 18 year relationship with them.  I have, therefore, tried to keep the content on this site factual (and non-emotional), and I would ask that folks adding their content do likewise.
